Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
I may have to fab up some P.S. brackets, http://www.ebay.com/itm/10003-292-CH...3839e2&vxp=mtr
doesn't look too hard...

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
well I found some original PS brackets on here got them today had to do alittle grinding on head to line up. I'm using early 70's pump and nothing lines up waaaaay off, I do know I need the 292 pump pulley, which I haven't found prolly never will...

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
I have an 84 chevy with a 292 and it has power steering...wonder if there was a difference in style of the PS bracket through the years.

I know the feeling Randy! You just have to do small projects indoors. Like rebuild and clean your gauge cluster or something.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Like argonaut said. Stay busy with little stuff. They do all come together at one point. but building the tracks are the best part. Other than driving of course. Fine balance between the two.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Finally got my pizza cutters mounted, my son took them to school and mounted them for me.. They are LT2358516's mounted on 1948 16's 4 1/2 wide wheels...
I still have to paint the wheels the same color Green as truck. It's kinda hard to see what they really look like without the front end and bed on. Maybe now that the weather has warmed up I can get the right side rear cab mount and rear corner welded in. Then I can set the front end and bed on it and may go ahead and put it on the road and drive it some til I can save more cash to finish with some more new sheet metal...Alittle at a time.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
I love tall skinnies on these pickups! Looks awesome!
what kind of tires are those? They look a lot like old 9.50-16 bias plys.
