Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

I like the silver and white combo, not wild about the graphic that breaks it up. I think it was done that way when he bought it as part of the Centurion conversion.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

I like everything about this crewcab! The silver over white and the graphics are very eye catching. Wheels and stance are perfect.
This gave me a great idea for painting on my 86 crewcab shortbed.

Nice Truck!

the graphics almost look like they would work much better flipped backwards from how they are now

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Well I have got a few things done lately on mine. The front sheetmetal is gone, old engine and tranny are gone. The interior is completely gutted! Gas tank is off.

This weekend I got a brand new shortbed tank from Advance Auto Parts for $108. Of course I had a pile of new suspension parts for my Blazer that I returned for the tank so it was already paid for!

Have you done any experimenting with the shortbed tank on your Truck yet?

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

If I go too much lower on my 04 I will have to do a 2 piece driveshaft.

Keep up the good progress.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Scotts62: Can you post pics of your air intake system on the 454? I saw the (early in the thread) engine pics but can't see how the MAP sensor is mounted. I'm looking at a similar truck this week but been told the air intake/filter system is off and not available. I'm concerned about this sensor and how it's mounted. I looked at the wrecking yards around here and have not found a like year 454 that's not been picked over.

Appreciate any/all assistance.
