OrrieG thanks but i am selling my truck so my wife can finish collage. i also have some other things that need a little green to make them go away so i think that the truck is going to make those happen.

I used a 68 Camaro, 61 VW van, 72 Olds and 64 Chevelle to supplement my college education in the 70's. Sold 1 a year for fees and books. She can make you a bunch of money and get you a really good Christmas present in the future!

well i will be going back to work so i may not have to sell my truck. my mother in law is in the hospital and not doing good at all. so time will tell. praying my mother in law is going to be ok.

well i got the wireing finished up on the truck. lights work,guages work,but she wouldn't fire up. i didn't even get a click click out of the starter. so i took it off and had it checked at auto zone. checked out ok. so i think i have a grounding issue. hopefully i will have her running under her own power this week. also have someone intrested in buying my truck so hopefully with it running it will sell quicker. pics and video to come soon. also mother in law is doing much better.

I had a no click situation one time because I burnt up my ign switch. Just those cheapos you get at advanced or autozone. But what happened was my solenoid wire was a little loose so it wasn't getting a consistent current. So I then got a new switch and put a fuse in between the ignition and solenoid. So I'd check that switch first. Good luck.

thanks 99 but i found that the battery i was using was bad. ithad enough juice to run lights and etc but not enough cca to runthe starter. i got the truck to kick over last night. didn't fire up but i'm getting there.

haven't posted in a while so. well out of town working as it is the busy season for me. wife and i bought a motorcycle for dirt cheap. so my plans are to finish my truck this winter and sell it. it is not a need to sell the truck but i have just decided that when it is finished i will sell it. no new projects in mind just going to sell it to stop me from improveing it once it it done. as the saying goes your projects are never done. i think that this is the best thing i tend to not leave well enough alone and need to be doing more family things that the truck/projects take up.

well here are a couple of pics of what i have been working on when i'm home. 89 honda rebel 250, 5400 orignal miles, price $250.00. needed paint got that done. ordered tires need to get the tubes now. gotta get front brake pads, need to order a seat cover. need to finish the new taillight bracket. this is for the wife since she is doing great in school.

well i will be back on the truck in a few weeks. been out of town working since late aug. placed an order to harmons for all my weathers seals and some other parts. can't wait to get home and get my truck finished.

well i got the windshield and back window in. waiting on some of my weather seals for the doors they were on back order. should be here on tuseday. also got the engine running today. pics and video to come soon.

Those are great bikes, i myself have a 1986 honda rebel 250, it has almost 40,000 miles on it, and it takes a beating sometimes, but still looks brand new.

lots of progress today. all the windows are in. got one of my custom door panles on. need to get the other on. have to make my arm rests this week sometime. what a pain in the butt to put the windows in the doors. also got the hood aligned.

well got more done on my truck arm rests are fabed up. nee to finishthem. horns are mounted. windlaces is in. still haven't got it running good enough to get video. had fuel problems today. going solid flat black with a silver grill and bumper.
