Those guys do some nice work! really hard to find good body shops that don't charge you more than you have in the rest of your truck.

are you going to set your motor in before they put the front clip on... just to make sure nothing gets damaged putting the motor in ??

Haha. I'm still not sure if this paint job is going to be more or less than the whole truck.

But they do good work, that's for sure.

Nah, they are working on putting the front clip on as I type this. I wanted them to do the alignment part of it. We'll just be very careful putting the motor back in.

Thanks, Heath! We can almost smell the paint in my own garage! Here's some of today's updates....

Looking forward to getting our wheels on it and the stance right with the weight of motor and trans, etc.

It's definitely tough to not just hook it up and drag it home and start putting it back together. i'm hopeful that we are still on schedule for picking it up this week. Lots of plans!!! I'm like a kid on Christmas morning with this thing now!

Dude, that truck looks Great! Sorry to hear they broke the windshield. I have broken 2 in one day before. sometimes they can be a beotch to get installed.
I learned to not try to reuse the old gasket. It's still easy to crack them around the corners.

Don't sweat the hood. You'll probably want to pull the whole front clip to install the engine and tranny anyway?
