I can't say for sure. They were in Speedway boxes and had China stickers on them. I would suspect that most tire store chains, auto parts stores and mail order companies that sell these get them from the same overseas manufacturer unless you are buying from one of the big brand name manufacturers directly (and I understand that even some of them are outsourcing much of their production these days). These were well packaged and even had a fabric cover over the face so they wouldn't get scratched. Like most of us, I would rather buy USA made but I'm not rich so I have to buy the best I can according to my build budget. For the price and the quality I can peel off the China stickers.

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

Hey guys Love the Ralleys.
I have an ECE lowering kit on my truck consisting of 2.5 spindle and a 2 inch drop spring in the front. However when reinstalling the front wheel i noticed the rim hits on the backside of the lower control arm! I didn't see any posts addressing this problem with any of the posts on this thread. i did see other posts saying they used an even lower drop than mine. did people change there lower arms?

Not me, I have the same ECE front setup and 8" rally wheels. No metal touching metal with the rim. Don't have an idea, sorry.

You have to notch the lip of the LCA.

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

I couldn’t find pics, but basically where your wheel is rubbing your lca when you turn, it will leave a mark. That’s where you know you have to notch the curled lip of the lca. It shouldn’t be a lot at all that you would have to notch.

Hope this helps.

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

so notch it like a side ways triangle?
When i was imagining the wheel turning more and more cutting into the arm that it would be one hell of a notch. I felt that grinding it that much compromise the structures integrity.
I would like to see a picture for reference of how much you had to take out.
I'm not going to tell you that it bad or anything, just curious that maybe its not that much material that i have to remove.
If you cant post a picture that ok maybe a general guess 1/2 inch cut?
I appreciate and look forward to your comment.

EDIT i just re read your comment if its just curled lip...I can do that
Thank you

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

Grind the LCA or use a 1/4” spacer.

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

First off, I might have missed it but how wide are your front rally wheels? 8” or 6.5”? Wider? I know if it’s 8” the grinding is minimal. And trust me, the amount of grinding you have to do won’t compromise the structural integrity of the lca.

BTW, I have a bagged c3500 diesel dually. You should google image the size of notch needed for bag clearance to the frame!

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

Its an 8" rim. out comes my grinder...Thx
I was told i cant use a spacer, not enough stud for the nut to tighten the wheel on properly...

Re: Pic Request: Rally wheels on a dropped truck

yup i needed to grind a little on the backside an a fair amount on the front side of the lower control arm. I may still need 1/4 inch spacer, i can live with that. thanks for the help guys

I know this is an old tread but was wondering if you can share the brand of tires you are running. Thanks in advance.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience, well......that comes from bad judgment.

1968 Chevy C-10 "Longshot": Bought used from my Uncle George in 1994 and proceeding to beat the hell out of it for 4 years. Sold it. Bought it back, dumped an ungodly amount of money into it since then.
