Re: 55 2nd series

Thanks guys. This is the first motor I have ever done. I'm waiting for my new oil pan.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Man are you doing some nice work.

Where did you get the battery box? I can see where you mounted it, how do you access the battery?

Thanks! I have never done a project like this before. I had done some body work before. I has been quite an undertaking. I'm in crunch mode now I want it to be drive-able in 76 days.

I got the box off of eBay I had seen them on other sites but they wanted way too much money for them. I want to say it was ~$60. I can snap a few pics tonight when I get home. The box will drop out of the bracket so I just have to crawl under there and drop it down. The first location I had it mounted in interfered with the bracket for the step.

Yep and she hates it. I told her she'll never look under the hood any ways.

I'm hoping to get the primer on soon

Re: 55 2nd series

Worked on some brake lines last night. Making the 45 degree double flares are a PITA. Took about 2 hrs to do this.
