Re: dbombs53 short box
Thanks, I bought carpet and did it myself. I've been doing upholstery for a while now.

Re: dbombs53 short box
Took ot for a ride around the block, pipes aren't as loud as I thought. Once I get going they seem to mellow out, But they're loud at take off. lol. I need to get the trans adjusted and the alignment done. That'll be Monday, then I'm on the road! Finally....

Re: dbombs53 short box
That seat looks great! Love the color choice and material.
EXCELLENT CHOICE on the seat, too. Those bench seats with the flip-out armrest and no headrests are very difficult to find, but to me, they are the best seat seat you can use. I have one in the '55 I am building, and I am desperately trying to find one for my '64. I believe that they only built them in '88 and '89, and only in the fully loaded standard cabs. That alone makes them very difficult to find. Got another one laying around?

Re: dbombs53 short box
Thanks jhrusk, the carpet is a 1200 series cut pyle, color is taupe, I used to do upholstery at a shop for about 18 years. Left the shop for a City job with benifits, (family needs insurance), now I just pick and choose what I do, mainly street rods, custom bikes and custom trucks.

Re: dbombs53 short box
Dropped off my truck at the transmission shop to have the TV cable adjusted, found out my clutches for second gear are toasted. There's another bracket that is needed that connects to a Holley carb, it allows the cable to be pulled at the correct angle. I'll take a picture and post it today. Needless to say, the trans needs to come out again and be torn apart.
