That truck intake does make for a tight fit! (It's tight to begin with... but the taller intake makes it even tighter!)

Truck is looking awesome! We have been selling more and more stepside parts recently... it's obvious why, these things look awesome on the ground!

Keep us posted on the progress!

Man that step bed is in really good shape, I'm envious mine was so bad I had to scrap the entire thing there wasnt one salvageable piece, so I'm actively trying to locate one that is good enough to bother with and it isn't easy.

I realize this post was quite a while ago, but 54" are you talking about a S10 rearend? I happen to have one of them laying around with the gov lock, disc brakes and 3.42 gears which is perfect and already narrow! My buddy runs one in his drag car , yes its much lighter than my truck but with a spool , 4.56 gears, slicks, and some massive launches , I have seen him break it once but I'd say its taking way more abuse then a rearend will ever see from me! Anyway I've searched and searched this topic and don't find much on putting one in a C10 i have a 70. I'm ok with bolt pattern issue, lol guess after rereading this I've really already answered my question but still open to any input im sure someone has already done it, seems like a cheap easy solution with plenty of benefits!
