Re: HeavyMetalChevy
He has text me a few times in the last two weeks the latest being This past Tuesday saying that if he had the money that he would pay it back. I received all of my final documentation and the exact amount for my claim is $530.21. On tuesday, I messaged him and gave him till Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at noon to get me the money or I would be filling small claims.

In the beginning of all of this I tried to give him the benifit of the doubt. Soon after trying to make contact it became very clear that he is a fraud. If it was just me that he ripped off, I wouldn't sweat him,but it is not just about me. I would be more than happy to help in any way that I can. I don't do the Facebook thing. I have been wondering if Duane's Facebook pals know about his cheating people here. Posted via Mobile Device |

I did get the seats belts today when I got home from work. They are not exactly what he represented, but I'm not surprised. My guess is that this thread pushed him into sending them to me. Back to the belts he sent me..he either lied intentionally about them or he really is clueless..perhaps he is clueless on a lot things in life. Since I did get the belts I don't have any further imput other than I would have been better off not dealing with this guy. Re: HeavyMetalChevy
I think he thinks no one is going to press charges against him. He knows he owes money or parts to members, he knows he didn't pay any of the shipping on the doors he bought from me. Evidently he don't care if guys are wanting their parts or money back

Re: HeavyMetalChevy
I don't think he will with me, he hasn't paid a dime on the shipping of doors. And also never tried to fix the problem, just blew it off. He can say what he wants about being a stand up guy but he knows he hasn't paid anything. I'm glad he is coming through for some of you though BUT you don't keep members money as long as he has, that is just not right

Re: HeavyMetalChevy
I am not disagreeing with any of you that he has stolen from members or the fact that he has kept money without sending parts which is a total bunch of bs. I know he kept my money for months and everyone has their personal problems but personal problems is no excuse to mess with business.

Re: HeavyMetalChevy
i've dealt with Dewayne in the past, and never had a problem. I believe he may have become overwhelmed with everything going on in his personal life and everything here snowballing all at once, and ran off and hid for a moment until he got stuff sorted out.
I honestly believe he'll do as he says he'll do, eventually. |
