Re: New to me 72 Sub
Sub is currently at the muffler shop and maybe I can get it aligned today. I would like to drive it this weekend.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I am finding the ride a bit choppy. I'm going to have to check into what is going on with that. I may reset the ride height and see what happens. I think I may be to low at ride height.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I think the rear could stand to come up an inch or so. A little more pressure out back should help the choppiness, especially if it's hitting the bumpstops.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
It's not near the bump stops. It rides and drives very well, but has a shimmy at all speeds even on smooth roads. I'm going to get the alignment redone and go from there.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
After our texts today, I agree. Was going to suggest sending it to Moseley's. Let me know how it goes and if I can help with anything.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I had a challenge with the right hand front sensor being damaged. I think the tow company damaged it while it was in transport. Either way it is replaced now and the accuair is fully functional again. I still need to correct the alignment. My thought is the sensor was damaged prior to the alignment and that may be causing my vibration issue.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
We'll I took the Sub into my shop to install a sway bar and we burned up the Accuair controller.
I personally don't think jump starting a truck should do that, but that is exactly what happened. Accuair does not suppy an inline fuse for the system, but we had planned on installing one. Planned being the main word. One of my employees used a battery jump box to start the truck and it burnt up one relay and the controller. We tested all of the electronics this week after replacing the relays and I will be ordering a new part from Accuair Monday. While I'm not happy about it, I still think the Accuair system rocks. I would recomend that they pony up a couple of bucks and add in a safety check for this issue. Every vehicle will have to be jumped at some point in time. Prior to this issue I had put almost 400 miles on it problem free. I still have a couple of small leaks in the RH front bag and a super slow leak in the RH rear bag. Once that is done on to the LS conversion. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I hate to hear that. But that does say something about the Accuair that you still think its freakin sweet even after something like that happens!

Re: New to me 72 Sub
Damn. Anything you can do to surge protect? Or just plan on pulling the fuse if it needs a jump? Damn.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
After getting side tracked with work for a few months I'm getting back on this project. I have been getting some parts together in the mean time. I'm going to start with the LS conversion. I hope to have it done by the middle of the summer.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
A tornado blew through last week and did a ton of damage to my Suburban, Range Rover, not to mention my house. I'm not sure what the out come will be it has a lot of hail damage. I'm going to have a PDR guy look at it next week to see if I can repair it an keep the perfect patina look. If not I suspect it will get painted.
