Looks great. Have you drove it much yet? Once the front end settles in the stance will be about perfect

No the front end is out of alignment BAD and I mean bad. I am going to take it to the front end shop this evening so they can work on it tomorrow. Yeah I think the springs will settle on it.

Looks very good!!
What was the over all drop on the front and back? I just completed a drop on the front of mine and it came out to exactly 4". The back is next and I am thinking of doing a flip kit but don't want to go too low.

I haven't taken the dimensions on it yet but I think it came out to about 4" I left it at my dads shop but plan on getting it home tomorrow.

Ordered rims and tires this morning! Front 20 x 8.5 with 255-40-20 and rear 20 x 10 with 295-40-20. Boss 338 rims and Toyo ProxesII tires. I used forum member "killthewabbit" truck as a go by

Re: Project Platinum C10

I've been doing some thinking here lately and need some help. I really like the look of these trucks when they have the factory emblems, mirrors, grilles and trim. That is actually what draws me to these square bodies. As some of you know I am having that emblem made "Platinum C10" for the tailgate. I am thinking about replacing the side "Scottsdale" emblems with some "Platinum C10" emblems as well. What are your thoughts????

My truck stays parked in the garage most of the time. I'll have to dust it off next week when I get home

I would like to see how that style looks on my truck but I've pretty much made my mind up on wheels I think

Re: Project Platinum C10

I found a website where you can pull up your body style truck and put different rims on it. I'll see if I can find it again. I'm hoping to get the truck into paint within the next week.

Re: Project Platinum C10

Man I looked at your post today and like your truck with the rims on it! After I get it painted my progress will slow way down as my funds will be drying up....lol. Hopefully I can at least get all the interior done soon after paint.

Re: Project Platinum C10

Thanks. I'm not sure if my current rims will work with the brakes I want to run. I know the feelings with lack of funds at times. Most mine go to the kids toys these days lol

Not yet. I still need to have the front end aligned. The paint shop wants me to bring it by so we can go over it one more time and I can pick out the paint colors and get a exterior seals / trim list from him.
