i have this painted faceplate that has no mounting studs on the back. a couple people here said they may want to use a faceplate for speakers and i wanted to offer this for $20 shipped. you will not be able to use it for A/C i want to make that clear but as you can see in the pic you can mount it to the dash.

Just found this thread tonite and read whole thing. Have you thought any more about the duct box behide dash? My truck didnt have air so would need that box. hopeing to get a vintage air set up that could connect to that box if you make them avaliable with complete set up. If you do what would the whole set up cost( center face plate with all balls and vent, outer balls for side of dash and box behind dash)?

right now im trying to get the face plate and vent balls going. im not sure if i can do the box because of its size. i bought a box for my truck. cost me $149

A 3D printer would be the way to go on the box.

I have the one I purchased if anyone is interested. Its a complete setup, and CorvetteJim did an excellent job on these but I have decided to go with billet vents from Vintage Air. I didn't even take it out of the box Jim shipped it in. If your interested PM me
