Looks good. The novelty of it might wear off though, at least it did with me.

That's funny, I like it. It looks like its from the 70's so I'm guessing it was free or cheap, now he has dry storage when he wants or needs it.

Re: 2 for 1 Part II...
I have one for my long bed, it was on it when I bought it. Immediately took it off, and its been sitting in the hay loft ever since, 15 years. May have to dig it out, and use it when I finish the truck..hmm

Do you have a local source for LS engines?

Re: 2 for 1 Part II...
Craigslist, junkyards, Copart, facebook
I have found them on all these sites, Korbin recently found 2 in Dallas on CL for about $500 each with harness and ECM, no transmissions. I bought a wrecked truck complete to get mine. That way I could pull out anything and everything I could think off to use. I prefer this way over just getting the engine/trans/harness/ecm.

Re: 2 for 1 Part II...
I'm actually just outside of Tyler in a little town between I-20 and Big Sandy. Tyler is where I do most of my stomping around, but now that I work in Gladewater, I'll probably be getting familiar with Longview.

Re: 2 for 1 Part II...
Well, had a little set back trying to get ready for LST.
Korbin sold the Eagle 225's and get a set of 6.5" and 10" wide rallies for the truck. The new tire/wheel combo fits the truck theme better than the 225's. They are on a red and white Blazer up in the DFW area now and really set off that Blazer. Here is the set back: By the time I got home he had pulled off the clip and assessed the damage. Everything on the front boot is toast except the Driver's side fender and inner wheel well. When I got home he and a buddy where on the way to Jacksonville where he had found a clip off a 89-91 suburban that was white, but the core support is damaged and there is some damage to the passenger fender. Cost him $60. It has vinyl stripes on it that we will take an eraser wheel and remove them. We will rattle can the blue/black stripe on the fenders and get another single headlight core support and get replacement grill and lights to make it look like it did. Korbin hopes to get the core support today, then it is just a matter of fitting it all together...maybe we can get some updates/improvements made under the hood while it is apart.
