How do you feel about the RideTech shocks? I'm thinking of doing their street grip kit for my build. Its pretty pricey. Just want to make sure the shocks are worth the cost. Thanks.

How do you like the Billet Specialties pedals? Any issue with installation? Mine arrived today and I'm going to install them on Friday. Just wondering if its pretty straightforward or not. Nice looking ride!!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Absolutely LOVE your truck.
I noticed you upgraded your headlights to LED, can you provide me with any info on them? Are they a direct pug in or do I need to replace wiring harnesses trim rings, ect...
Do you have the model/Part number, cost and best place to purchase them?

I hate the stock headlights on my '79.

Thank you for any info!

Mark

Ride Tech shocks are the best shocks period IMO for our trucks. I have spent thousands of dollars on shocks no **** look back in my thread. I had the non adjustable RT shocks and I was like damn these are the best ride like I am on air. Well new mild tubz installed had to raise truck and get new shocks. I went with RT again but got the adjustable shocks. And they are the best I have ever had on my truck. I absolutely love them. Trust me I have wasted enough money I could have built another truck. Look back at my thread it's true. Don't cheap out plz. Anything RideTech or PorterBuild has the best products period. You will NOT regret buying anything from RideTech period. Call and talk with John at RideTech he is in the C10 game which helps us all out for new products!! I can not stress enough how much I like the ride of the shocks. I am sold on ridetech shocks and anything ridetech!!

Thank you!! Yes I did change them got the JW Speaker EVO 2. Theybare plug and play just like putting a old headlight in. But I also have on order a new release LED from Dapper Lighting. I like the looks of the Dapper better I am just curious about light output beam pattern cutoff things like that. JW a set will run you $500 or the Dapper having a pre order sale for $399. But I would never go back to a old style haedlight. Amazon for the JW headlights is the best price. Just type in Google JW Speaker EVO 2 of go to dapper lighting and look for the SEVEN. Anything else just ask.

Thanks a lot for the response.
I might wait to see how those LED's from Dapper lighting look on your truck before I pull the trigger on the EVO's. They look sweet!!

Thanks again!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

So as the season comes to a end I wanted to change my seat color. Well this winter I plan on getting my seat covered. So until then I figured I would just dye the original seat. I used VHT satin black. And it turned out awesome I am surprised how good it turned out.
