I'm jealous, send the snow up here so I can start replenishing my truck fund.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
If you build the house with half the attention that you've put into the truck, which is improbable-I'm sure you're putting full effort, your house will be a showpiece in your neighborhood.
Have fun driving around the neighborhood without a windchill! Are your wipers ready to be installed? |

Maiden Voyage. I'm off to the windshield shop. It was a balmy 31 degrees with a 40 mph headwind.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
That's awesome Drew! I drove my 92 F-350 about 10 miles in the dead of winter on a 5 gallon bucket when I started to build it and had to get it to the body shop. That no windshield deal gets cold quick.

I have a whooshing noise coming from my brake booster and no power brakes. Did I mess it up? Muffler was contacting a cross strut and vibrating. (fixed that this afternoon) Tow haul light comes on by itself and the tranny starts holding gears longer. Glass is in and worked out well. $225 for a Precision front weatherstrip, glass, and installation. The best part is - if it leaks, it's their problem.

maybe an electrical thing on the tow/haul? Sounds like a bad seal on the booster/bad booster itself???

Sounds like a good deal on the glass.
So you have a few bugs to work out. You knew there would be some things to tweak after the maiden voyage. Keep it up! FYI, at the rate you're going this thread will hit 300k visits by year end |
