The fun 1950. We had so much fun with this one driving cross country on a couple power tours. Should have kept it!

HSRACER - That truck is soooooo iconic & is the staple of judgment of all '47-55 trucks.

I believe it had a twin??

Nice Truck can you tell us about the rear bumper?
Is that a Fleetside bumper flipped or altered stepside rear bumper
Nice look either way

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

HSRACER ... the twin was done in a similar style as the "Deadwood" truck but the signage was a bit different ... If I remember ... a friend did it or you helped. Can't remember exactly. That's what happens when you get old ... first thing to go - memory - second? Can't remember.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

The grunge truck with the deadwood mortuary signage was done earlier and was in some type of truck magazine. That magazine was where I first saw the truck that we modeled my truck on. I had forgotten about that until you reminded me. Thanks

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

The rear bumper was a fleet side that was flipped so we could bring the exhaust out the center and keep the truck super low. Turned out really well but it was quite a challenge to get the exhaust around all the suspension and gas tank then to the center exit. The bumper itself was easy to flip. It was trimmed a little to bring it closer to the bed width.
