Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Me too! That green and white truck is beautiful!!
My truck is not a bonus cab, however the guy took the rear seat out of storage and put it back in before he sold it to me. It was out forever, just for that reason to fit stuff back there. So now I have a crewcab with a brand new rear seat and a recently recovered front seat. Too bad the front seat is the old style that stops a foot from the door. It's coming out. |

[QUOTE=thirdstreettito;4291613]
I am wanting to do the same for my truck. I just don't want to put a bunch of money into the powdercoating and have it peel off of the aluminum. I wonder if the lug nut and wheel weight areas would eventually give problems. |

DynaBeads and CounterAct are two of the bigger names in the business. You can actually use a lot of different things, I've even heard of guys using antifreeze! In addition to not scratching the finish of an expensive wheel, they also provide for a nice clean look. Rim weights or even stick on weights that are visible detract from the beauty of the wheel. I'm going to add a picture of a crewcab here so Tito doesn't get mad at me for going offtopic ;> |
