Nice! This is one of my favorite trucks on the board. Always cool to see these trucks being built.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

Looking great. Lets see that color on the bed.

Just throwing something out there, but since you went through the trouble of creating the front tubs, how about a raised floor and rear tub fiberglass insert for the bed? Lets face it, nobody with a raised bed floor is ever going to haul anything heavier than a cooler of beer/pop and a couple lawn chairs ever again. It could fe fitted in like a bed liner from just under the bed rail.

Let me know when my name comes up for a set of fronts....check the flanges on these i did last project (still in rough stage) --reversed flanges on widened steel tubs--no exposed bolts anywhere..In glass they would look awesome I think!..going to do something similar this time.....jim

They need to do a retro version that looks similar to the 67-68 like they did the Camaro. Modern twist to the classic look.

The tubs look great. Makes me wish I needed a set.

Can you make some smoothed out stock style replacement ones now?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

since the 67-68's have always been the most popular and regarded in the auto industry as the best front end....I don't see how they could go wrong...probably would take over as the best selling trucks again!

I would buy one for sure.

I haven't liked the front end since 2002 and don't care for the current body style at all. This coming from a die hard Chevy fan is not what GM needs to hear.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

man its nice having the truck home for a few days, getting alot of little stuff done, nut zerted and installed the high hump, installed my SLOSH TUBZ, fitted my tailgate, worked on figuring out the rear crossbrace for the raised bedfloor, threw my steering wheel on for kicks, messed with the speaker box a little...oh less talk and more pics, it kills me to see the outside of this tailgate in primer but we had to fill the holes it had for the 72 wide band , the inside is still the original paint !!
