over here.. there a little rare i see about 25 trucks before i see a burb.

Step by Step

1: BLOCK THE WHEELS!!!
2: Disconnect the linkage bar from the "C" Arm on the Transmission
3: Manually move the transmission selector shaft to the NEUTRAL position
a: Note, when looking at the selector from the left, fully CW is PARK, two "clicks" CCW will be NEUTRAL.
4: Move your Transmission selector lever to the Neutral position
5: Adjust the column-to-linkage rod position until the linkage bar slides into the "C" arm without interference
6: tighten adjusters!

Two of the most important things about doing this are 1: Blocking your wheels, not just relying on your park brake, and 2: full Clockwise travel (all the way back) is PARK and full Counter Clockwise travel (all the way forward) is FIRST gear

Here are some things that are key to Chevy transmission linkages
There are plastic bushings that if missing or worn can make setting the linkage difficult. Any worn, loose, or bent parts will make the adjustment difficult. Do you have pictures of how the linkage is installed on your truck right now? I know the on piece I sent you was the 4X4 frame mount, so maybe we can examine how it is installed and see what is going on.

ok i got the shifting linkage to work well with the engine and cab ... now for update...

i got for short time use the driver outside mirror, the throttle rod linkage, tilt shift indicator.

well after today (im going to get coolant lines) i will need driveline gas (duh lol) and a battery... i still need to get my gas tank lined and a new float

so i am SUPER CLOSE now i got the fitting on the back of the carburator for the power brake booster and hooked it up so now when i turn it on ill have brakes
