Don't we all need more light!! Your truck is coming together great. Should not be long until your driving it now!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

thanks for all the compliments guys !! as far as the wood goes, if it was a more radical custom i would probably do something like that but with the look i am going for it will be more subtle

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

67cheby, Don't be suprised if you see that script grafted into many a hood from now on. Nice touch!! I love that you used the hood to do the notch cover, continuing the body line into the bed! Inspirational to say the least!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

I can't tell you how welcome you are! The only other mod I've seen that was equal was when one of the guys (wish I could remember who) cut up a hood to make a cowl induction hood. Its hard to start a new trend but I just witnessed something new! Seeing that says to me that there is many places that the script could be grafted into. I wont give up my ideas...I'll let the others think for themselves. Just know when you see it where it came from!

Well, I already put it in the center of the dash where the radio speaker grille goes and also had that panel made with it enlarged to use on the rear tailgate...I had posted on another thread about possibly incorporating it into the radio area of the dash if smoothed and had considered it in a glovebox door as well...(one of the three dash areas...not all three of course)

Sorry that came off rude sounding....Guess that's what I get for trying to show off ideas

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

Sorry VA72C10, I forgot about those mods! Very cool by the way . I can see it grafted into the door just below the wings, in the fender, up top, just ahead of the doors, lower door just behind the fender, on a 67-68 hood on the drivers side, lower right on smooth tailgate...let me shut up. The potential is limitless.
