Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Drew, I keep looking in so I can keep seeing the cab. Someday I'll get to building one. First I have to get every one else's stuff done first.

The bed looks great on there. It won't be long now. Can't wait to see it come together.

Backwards.
That's the direction I am headed. Air bags are out of front to make a taller mount. A shot of the stuffed rears.

Oh, I'd hate to do that on my truck. I may not be able to remember which truck donated what.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
My shocks and new bag hats are ready for the front. (Hmmmm, what's in the new box underneath?)
Yes I remembered to fix the broken manifold bolt. New and improved (shorter) steering shaft. Only the lower portion is new, I was able to keep the earlier fabrication to connect old column to new rack and pinion.

Yes they do look like 7 inch top hats. On my newer frame it is not as easy to just put a plate over the spring pocket like you can on the old frames, plus the springs are longer on the new style trucks so the pocket is even taller.
