Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

My project. 1962 Chevy Panel Truck C30 long body. Hope to make this into a traveling machine. Came with factory air conditioning which surprised the heck out of me. Since I do not see any options for converting a one ton to disc brakes i may be looking for a modern drive train to graft in.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I saw this truck at tire shop in Oak Cliff. It really caught my eye. I stopped and asked if it was for sale, but they said it belonged to a customer.

Thx man. The box is actually another long box. Must be an optical illusion. It's down to the metal and needs to be cleaned up and put in primer. Procratinating that one. The new project is a 64 long bed fleetside. 89,000 original miles.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

This is a guy I met years ago with a 66 pick up with a 454. No pictures of that yet but this is his present find. He put a set of bags on it. He only speaks French therefore I'm posting for him.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I just joined but have gained a lot of insight and knowledge from other members posts. I am from Rio Rancho, NM. I am doing a frame off resto on a 1966 C10 long fleetside. 1/3 way through the project and only have a few progress photos at this time.
