It's been 46 years since I worked on a tractor, but I had heard about enclosed cabs, radios, AC and such coming online. All the way from walking behind a farting plow horse to a radio-controlled tractor.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
daughter spotted this little critter out cruising for bugs this morning
The three-toed box turtle is a subspecies within the genus of hinge-shelled turtles commonly referred to as box turtles. This subspecies is native to the south-central part of the United States and is the official reptile of the state of Missouri.

When you have access to lots of pallets you get creative . My son made it not completely done yet. It’s under the second floor screened in porch

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
I'd never heard of a tomahawk steak until just a few days ago. That's mighty expensive beef. What is the purpose for the "handle"?

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
I worked for a small company for 30 years and every Christmas Season the owner took us all out to a really nice place to eat for our Christmas Party. Places my honey and I would never go unless someone else was paying haha.
One year we went to John Howies steak house and I had one of those crazy cuts of meat with the Flintstones sized bone sticking out. It was called the Long bone ribeye. I got kidded (ribbed?) about having the long bone ... dirty minded coworkers haha. And on a side note, how the heck do you cook a piece of meat four inches thick?

My wife pointed out that it's just a cut-up standing rib roast. In retrospect, I've eaten lamb chops like that, but they were a bit smaller...and were mostly fat. I cut as much off as I could. I get heartburn bad (as in sleeping the night in an armchair bad) from eating food with a lot of fat on it, even if it does taste so good.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Nice! I’d slap those bad boys in the smoker nice and low over heavy hickory/mesquite smoke for about 8-10 hours. I’ve had tomahawks before but not quite that thick.
