Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks guys. I have a list to make of stuff I need to buy to go on it. I'm just trying to get what parts I do have, that I've been stepping over on the truck. So I got the rear bumper, vent windows and side windows and the seats and the dash pad will go on after I repaint the top of the dash. So I have enough to keep me busy for a while.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

This trucks not going to Good guys. It won't be ready. I have too much to buy for it and after paint and some other projects I've acquired I'm strapped. I will be doing things to it while I save my pennies. Stuff that I already have on hand. I did manage to get the rear bumper started. I need to find my original bumper bolt stash. I think I have them in storage. I sanded and painted the plate holder and put on the new light for it. I painted it with graphite color wheel paint. I like it. The silver just didn't look like it belonged. Just an fyi, I got the plate holder off of an S10 . Just had to redrill a couple holes.

Looking good Chuck! I found my tag mount at our local pull a part, on a Chevy van, I think about 81 model. It was a perfect fit and super cheap. BTW, I love those chrome bumpers. Keep the pictures coming.

Looking good Chuck! I know how much time it takes to install that trim. I swear I spent almost two hours working on the 4 pieces on my cab alone. Keep the pictures coming.

Yeah I predrilled and test fit it except the tailgate since they snap in and are a pain to get out. I'll have to redo it later tho.
