Awesome build. Turned out really nice!
Have you seen the new 2013 Silverado? It might take a while for this one to grow on me. |

So far, photos like this have been the most the public has seen of the 2014 Silverado. I don't comment often, but I check this thread almost daily. I absolutely love your truck.

Well done, can't find words to describe your truck. Awesome job though. Seen the thread before, first time I read through it was today .

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
We looked at Airstreams... they are cool and I wanted one, but new ones are OUTRAGEOUS! AND the old ones dont have much room. With 3 kids, I HAD to have that big superslide. So, as is the theme with the Burb, I went with modern and practical instead of nostalgic and "less practical" haha.
Get 'er done by this summer and go campin' with us!

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Does anybody remember when I had to move the wiper motor over 3.5 inches???
I barely do myself, anyway, I had to shorten one wiper arm linkage and lengthen the other one. I just cut the 3.5 inches out of one and welded that piece into the other one. Let the paint dry and install.

Nice! It sure looks like it should have rolled off the GM factory line back when.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Its hard to got the camera in there and focused, but here's the best I could snap. The passenger side is the closest because on new trucks the engine is offset in the frame to that side to make room for the rack and pinion steering shaft on the driver's side.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I also recommend screen under cowl, going back 70 or so pages FRENCH BLUE's suggested this, use Satellite screen. it works well. I pre painted the screen then glued it to the bottom with polyurethane caulk. (Sikaflex 1A)
