Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Alan, I finally finished your book, now I want to wait for the movie. What a build, looking forward to seeing it at one of the Sema Shows, it looks like that quality. Some very ingenious solutions to problems a lot of us face. Thanks for documenting all that you have done.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
85 pages of posts and I have to go to bed , thought i would jump to the last page and see it all done ............ Now i have to get some sleep because I am in the middle of a stovebolt 6 build for my dads 47 chevy coupe , that I have to have built and dynoed by the 2oth of this month .. it is prehaps the most tricked out 6 i have ever worked on and if I dont deliver it by Christmas I may not get back to deliver it to the northeast til the spring ... I have been inspired by this thread to start on my 63 short bed , and i think after the first of the year i will learn how to post pictures and get it pulled out of the back garage and into the heated shop ........keep the pictures coming ..

The shipment arrived today, but didn't have any time to get things put together. Need to get some metal to play with also. I'm also looking for a 37* double flare tool kit. I can only find a single flare kit. Is that the only way you can do a 37* flare(single)?

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Nice equipment Alan, I have wanted to get some of the same ones for a while, but I will build my shop first. The garage would get to small if I added the equipment now...
Anyway, how is the bed coming along?

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Thanks and I agree about shop space. That's why I went with a smaller unit like the 3-1 piece. Most patches should be under 30". The bed is piled up against the wall for now. With Christmas coming and wet firewood (not seasoned) not much is getting done in the shop. Plus were picking up at work so I'll be working more which is a good thing. We'll see how long it last. You know me I'll post some pics of progress once some gets made. I was able to get the new equipment assymbled today and played with it for a few minutes. It's still at work, but it's been raining all day so I couldn't bring it home. The 3-1 isn't something you can pick up by your self unless you have a hoist. It weighs about 350#'s.

Where did you buy the stuff Allen? I was just looking at the add for HF and was thinking I need some stuff so I can be more like Allen. Good to hear work is picking up. I like your Day job thread.
