Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks guys. Yes it has a vac gauge too. I'm gonna try to hook it all up tonight. Does anybody know what size hole I need for the tach grommet? I forget.

Chuck,

It is a 3/4 inch hole just to the drivers side of the fuse block. Should be a dimple in the firewall as a guide.

Rear harness. I also found my side marker harness for the front. 68s didn't have side light markers that lit up but mine will.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I also need to paint my pedals and some of the inner firewall. After that I'll put the column in. The doors shut like new now. Two clicks.

What brand door gaskets did you use on this truck?

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Here's the cluster lit up. Had to replaced fuse. I found why it shot. I'm gonna hook up my am radio light to the light circuit so it'll come on when the lights are on.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I got the dome light in. I don't have the under dash lights in yet. I'll wait till I get the paint done on the firewall then do these wiring projects.

A side note- I got to see more of Clarksville than I cared to today. I was part of the slow parade trying to avoid the accident on I-24. I took Alt 41 to 76. Was I close to your place?

Keith, I don't have the door to cab seals on yet.. The ones I have are precision brand. They are the glue on type.
