Hey Drew, are you using the newer trucks heater/ac dash controls? If so, I'll be anxious to see that once you install it.

Yes I will, but of course I can't make it simple. I don't want to see that controller and it's 90's/00's look. I am going to extend the wires up the A pillar and make a custom mini overhead console mount. Trying to get it out of sight as best as possible.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

haha, you sound like me. But, it'll look great.

I got so used to my factory radio delete dash, that when I finally got around to installing a stereo, I didn't want to mess with that beautiful blank white canvas of a dash. So... where did the radio go? Overhead.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Tonight I actually ate spaghetti, inside the house of course.

After that I cut apart my battery tray and remade it to fit on the drivers side where the new truck setup is.

I also made this funny little bracket to mount the engine computer to. I found a perfect little spot tucked up in the fender that the wires were just long enough to reach. I'll have to paint them black, but first I'll have to replace my welder that died before I finished my computer bracket.

Nice work on the battery tray and pcm bracket. One step closer one step back with the welder. No chance you can fix it? Is it a through away model?

Judging from the noise it made, I'm calling it done and getting a Miller.

All the spagetti talk makes me want Italian for dinner!

Bummer about the welder..

I agree your PCM does look right at home. What are you going to do about the fuse box?

Whats wrong with the fuse box? The hood is a lot taller than the fender.

True!

I guess it just looks like it might be to high and would hit the hood. But if you say it clears, I believe!

Your fab skills are beyond me, really I am not worthy!!

It will be close, if it doesn't quite fit I can just pull all of the colored thingies out of the top to get more clearance.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Looks like the colored thingies get to stay.

Working on mounting the A/C condenser and running the aluminum lines. I had to clearance the fender liner and drill a hole through the radiator support.

I also mounted the power steering cooler.
