That is one sweet Sierra Grande, Bagpipeswest! I have a soft spot for the red headed sepchild GMC's (see my avatar). I never could figure out why GM never did a better job of having interior colors that better matched the exterior color. I guess it was besauce they were "trucks" (?)

I love the truck too! I agree tho on the interior...maybe black would have looked better?

yote1234.. that is a beautiful truck! I love the orange, too. I will hopefully have the same color, but with only the top being white like she is now. I also like all the trim back on it... I like the interior color, could you post a better one to see more of it? Thanks!

Nice ride! What kind of drop do you have? How many inches and what is used? (air bags, coils, spinldes, etc). I'm looking at lowering mine when I find the money. Also, what size rims are those. Sorry for all the questions. Your truck looks tough!

Thanks! All suspension is CPP...2.5" drop spindles and 2" drop springs up front....5" drop coils in the rear with adjustable stabilizer and shock relocation. No C-Notch, just cut snubbers and it rides pretty good.

Wheels are 18x8 with 255/45 rubber up front and 20x9.5 with 295/45 rubber out back.

If I had it to do over I'd probably go with 20x8 up front to level it out a bit and also regain some ground clearance....the headers aren't very happy about railroad crossings!

Just got this '72 GMC last week. I'm the third owner, all owners new have lived here in Tucson, AZ. PS, PB, factory air, super straight, perfect bed and zero rust.

Thanks! I will only sell it to replace it with something else. Wouldn't mind a blazer or maybe even a nice 71-72 Suburban.
