I cant wait til I'm there....I mustve missed it, but do you have anything done to the motor and trans (cam/stall etc) or is it stock stuff? and was that just open headers? Thanks and keep it up, your builds why I started!

New projects coming, just slowly. Doing the rust repair right now. Takes lots of time to get it just right. I dont like using any filler and metal finishing everything takes me alot of time. Hoping this weekend will be full of progress though.

anytime man! just so you know the gauge face is actually a really light grayish color. and do yourself a favor... use Bigblock73's brackets. they are worth their weight in gold

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

i have two questions for you, I went back through and read and tried to figure it out....but the first one...you were talking about an upgraded steering box I believe, where did you get it from or did you just re-do the stock one? The second question is did you end up keeping the 10 bolt rear or did you find a 12 bolt to swap?

Thanks

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

hey Jordan, on the box i just have a stock rebuilt one. eventually im going to get the acr quick ratio box. on the rear i ended up just getting new seals, bearing, and spider gears for the 10 bolt. that is another thing i plan on upgrading in the future. probably just keep the 10 bolt and put in a posi unit.

i was just thinking its funny the 2 things i feel are the weak link in the build you picked up on.
