Then if were all in agreement Jonz picture will be "December" in the all new 1960-66, 2011 calender. Now we only need to fill the other months!

Thumbs up Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I saw this Camper Special parked in front of someone's house over the weekend. I just thought it was kind of neat, so here are the pictures. It's NOT MY TRUCK, though.

The truck and camper look fantastic, but those stairs sure look a bit scary!

^ Yeah, I thought that too. Seems like you'd need to do a balancing act to climb those. Might be easier to just hop up there or use a step stool or something.

I agree....I'd like to know how and where they found a period correct looking camper in that good of shape. That's got to be way harder than finding a pickup with no rust.

You mean Mater? He was more of a '55-'57 I think. That looks more like a '58-'59. Either way, cool pic and right idea.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

We have a friend with steps like that
the bolts that hold the scissor sections together like to catch on shoelaces
why they weren't assembled with the bolt ends facing outward we'll never know!
I've been up and down them a couple of times and they ARE scary.
