I used SEM products. It was available through my local small town parts store and I found a gun for cheap on ebay.

Looking good! Any more progress on the filler panels? I had that on my list of to-do's when I was building my "shaved" ride a while back...

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

i have them cut out ready to bead roll and bend, but i have been spending my time trying to get this notch cover hinged , first i tried some 80's model truck hood hinges...that didnt work , now i am trying some generic Autoloc trunk hinges working on that tonight, it is driving me crazy i guess my main problem is that i dont fully understand pivot points?? so trying to figure out where to place the hinges is all trial and mostly ERROR !!

What about Porterbuilts hood hinges or something similar? Grants Customs & Sachse Rod Shops are 2 of the better known hinge options. SRS's actually originally built their hinges for bed covers so the pivot required might be fairly close.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Would match the hinges under the hood... stick with the theme 67cheby. Haha!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

Just read about 30 pages of your build...beautiful work, can't wait to see finished project. I'm excited for you. I spent 5 years on my 67' Camaro, only to have it turned into a submarine by Huricane Katrina, lol. Now I'm in the middle of doing my 68' shortbed. Putting the TPI motor together this week. You're motivating me! Keep the pics coming.--Dave
