Spring..? Too many predictions have come and gone. Lot's of work yet to be done including painting the engine/trans and powdercoating suspension parts, etc. But it's all downhill from here, right..?

My buddy and I joke that once we have it figured out how long our project will take, apply a quad to it and you have it just about right! LOL

This paint is so killer! Whatever the look, the car looks awesome and I'm enjoying the ride watching it come together!

Latest pics. These were taken with my phone yesterday and show a truer representation of the color:

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

like i said before , i hadnt seen the colour on the car when it was allmost put together
it still looks a bit to modern but ohw man its "out there" no sleeper look on this car

the pastelblue might be more period correct still but would post a statement like this colour does

You're right, I've deviated completely from the sleeper theme haven't I?

The color came out nice(at least on the pictures)
I know for a fact that pictures don't do justice.

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

theres a joke i seen once pulled on the proud owner of a car :
take a piece of ducktape and pull out one of the strands
kindah trow it against the bodywork and it will look like a scratch
then go to the owner and ask if he seen the ....etc
once hes done venting his frustration tell him you have a trick to remove the scratch and use youre finger to rub the strand intoo a ball
might be good for a laugh sometimes

With the car being at the paint shop for so long... doesn't that free up time and shop space at home for a certain Chevrolet Tahoe???

Thanks guys. Karl is doing an amazing job. I don't like to advertise in public when I'm out of town, so now that I'm back I can tell you I was in Ireland for 6 weeks. Thus no work on other projects..

A little hot rod flavor for the interior, but mostly stock.
