Ummm... probably not, Chip. The paint on the bed is nowhere near the quality of the cab and front clip. The base coat has sand scratches everywhere, the clear had a heavy orange peel they tried to cut and buff, but still has pitting in a lot of areas and they buffed thru to the primer in several places. It looks okay from 10 feet but is pretty rude up close. I haven't been able to raise him on the phone to discuss it, so I'm pretty sure he knows I've discovered it by now.

Bedliner looks great, though.

I spoke to my guy yesterday and he apologized for the paint flaws on the bed and immediately offered to fix them whenever I could get it to him... which made me feel a lot better. He said he was so covered up, he let his helper do more on the bed than he normally would. It will probably be after the first of the year before I get it to him, as I have no plans to pull the bed back off the chassis at this point. I did go down there today to pick up the rear bumper. It turned out very nice. Hope to have the front and other pieces by weekend.

I spent most of today plumbing the CPP HydraStop. The pre-bent stainless lines I got from Inline Tube are for the OEM setup and had to be modified for the CPP unit. The rear line is done, but I'm on the second attempt for the front. The OEM tube was 1/4" to the tee and 3/16" to both front calipers. I'm attempting to duplicate most of the OEM bends to plumb into the prop valve using 3/16" stainless line instead. On my first attempt, I booger'd the flare and didn't have enough length to redo it. The second line is looking good up to this point as long as I don't repeat the flaring mistake on the end that goes in the prop valve. I'll say this about the CPP HydraStop... it's fit like a glove up to this point. I still have to do the lines to the pump and the steering box, but their kit looks super complete. Compared to the unit I bought for my '57 Ford (from another company), this appears to be a much nicer setup.

As you can tell, I've been doing whatever I can to avoid getting back on the wiring job. But sooner or later those chickens will come home to roost.

Thanks, Duane, I was glad my painter offered to fix the bed since the rest was looking so nice. I bolted the bed to the chassis permanently (I hope) and I'm finishing up the wiring out back for the tail lights, etc. I got the brake booster plumbed in and ordered some a/c fittings for the hoses. The Vintage Air kit had the wrong fittings for the compressor that came with the March setup, so Summit scores again.

I had one on my '57 Ford also and you're right, they work! Maybe a little too good... had to re-tighten nearly every fitting in the system and even remade one entire line. But it stopped on a dime when I finished.

The rear bumper is on, bed is cinched down and the wiring to the tail/backup lights is done. Also figured out a way to mount the backup camera behind the license plate. Mocked up a/c and heater hoses up front but really need to get the front clip in place before making any final decisions.

Oh, and one other thing... note the hardware stored in the bed without any cushions. Repeat after me: work truck, work truck, work truck.

I've been slacking when it comes to posting lately. I'm still wiring for the most part, but I took Duane's advice and worked on a few other things for some relief. The heater and AC lines are in place and the brake lines are done. I still need to cut and build the braided steel lines for the HydraStop. I've been postponing some things until the front clip is back on. Picked up the inner fenderwells a couple of days ago, so I no longer have an excuse. The paint shop only has the intake tube left to squirt. Everything else is here at the house.

I was unhappy with my metalwork on the right bedside when it returned from paint, so I contacted Ace Dent Repair and had Terry drop by the shop for a look see. He said he thought he could fix the objectionable spots, so he returned the next day and spent a couple of hours working his magic. When he left, the bedside looked fantastic. As you may recall, I cut it apart twice when I was chasing the gap problem and probably should have just bought another one that was made correctly. But being hardheaded....

Back in October, 2013 I bought a Lukas Blackbox full HD camera for making recordings. It has three modes, driving, events and parking. It was pretty trick back in the day, but has long since been outpaced by newer tech. I'd never actually hooked it up, so I downloaded the latest firmware update and tested it briefly. It looks like it will work pretty well for my needs. Beats spending $300-$500 on a GoPro. Video test here.

Yep, that's what it is, Dan. I got this one from CPP and it fit perfectly. Think they call theirs a HydraStop, but it's functionally the same as the hydra boost setups from other outfits. I had a bad experience with the company that sold me the unit I used for Maybelline so I was determined to try someone else this time around. So far, this has been an easy peasy installation... no missing parts, bolted right in and no skimping on the line kit. One thing for sure, these units provide exceptional stopping power with light pedal pressure. The decision to go this route on CRLS was a no brainer for me.
