Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

My`92 K3500 that I factory ordered in Jan/92.It`s a 6.5TD,that was introduced late and only in 8-luggers w/regular cabs. It`s a 5spd,loaded SLE,low-back buckets, camper pkg, trailer pkg,off-road pkg,and light beige(tan)int.I got them to let me have Woodland Green. It`s the timeless classic green that hasn`t changed forever. It hasn`t been offered since after`84 except in "fleet" colors, like Omaha Orange etc. So,you have to have a "fleet" account to get it,x10-orders.I had the dealer ask GM.I could get it,but GM said I had to wait for at least 5 to be ordered.I said I`d wait,it took 6 weeks.Long story.....

Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

Hi there Special-K,

The pics are a few years old...

Mainly because my sub has been in storage now for the last few years, and it isn't all that right now and I am trying really hard to get it out doors to bring out its true glory.

The pic of the truck with the tent, was the last day it was out camping in its original condition (1998 ?). The second pic was how it has been sitting in my storage unit, and since then it got burried in junk and I have been traveling and moving so it has been getting too use to being in "deep storage".

I am trying to locate a few crucial parts for it to get it ready for the road, and recently ordered a few things that will get it to that point. So I am getting it ready to hit the road this summer! Wish me luck.

Thanks for the comment!

Re: Post "Your" 4x4 pic here..........

The lift is a combination of parts. The front uses 4 inch Rancho's,ORD HD shackles,ORD zero rate add a leaves.

The rear uses a stock spring with a ORD shackle flip and another set of ORD add a leaves.

Tires are 38.5-15-16.5's Boggers on 16.5X9.75 Trailready beadlocks. The fenders have been trimmed a little as well.

I'd sell but it wouldnt be cheap.
