Re: tuba trucks
Interior is hitting it out the park.
Get Pete to do a video of engine and upload to my or anyones Toutube to enjoy. Still going to have many days n nights of regret for not buying this truck first. I guess the only consolation is that I have one already that needs finishing. Looking great Clem and team. The boat ride will end up in massive smiles.

Re: tuba trucks
Looking at the pics of the master cylinder, Did you wind those brake lines and how did you do it? Looks great.

Re: tuba trucks
I roughed in what I wanted in soft tubing and sent it to Finelines. They made them in stainless and I got 4 sets. I think they charged $35 per set. No way could we bend them that nice in stainless. I've used all 4 sets on other trucks and need to order more. After the coil they drop straight down 3 feet, we then made the simple bends to the proportioning valve.

Re: tuba trucks
Hey guys, Pete here, finally making an appearance! Check me out on FB for a walk around and start up video of 'Tina.
Those brake lines are not the pre wound stainless lines. I actually wrapped those myself. I think I used a paint can for one and my travel mug for the other. Last edited by The Hoff Man; 04-07-2016 at 04:40 PM. Reason: misinformation |

Re: tuba trucks
Last weekend was the annual trek to Austin. The absolute best car (and truck) show we get to go to. Great pre 63 event with the best music, food and rides as well as a killer swap meet. 4 days of big fun...
Took lots of pics but it will take a few days to get them loaded up. The coolest truck thing happening is all the big trucks. Pete and I are gathering parts to build a 58 big window COE Viking and this show had a bunch of COEs. Pics... |

Re: tuba trucks
Real neat Clem.
As mentioned on FB, I LOVE that Tuba Trucks tailgate plate too. Kind of signs off the project in a way. Very impressed.

Re: tuba trucks
Looks great Clem . The 67-72 rear bumper finishes the look off really well . That's why I have gone that route as well . Like I said on FB the badge looks nice and subtle . I guess you painted the badge to match the colour , or was it made to match the colour.
