Nice truck, interesting color, is it a light blue or off white.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

I need to keep my cell phone more handy. I was right behind a good looking C10 long bed that was rolling up Cave Creek Road in Phoenix on Saturday at around 5pm with the hood off. By the time I fumbled my phone out the truck had pulled off into a gas station and I was running late for an appt so I missed out on both a pic and getting to talk to the owner. I wanted so badly to see what was in the engine bay and understand why the hood was off. Plus, I live just around the corner. Maybe our trucks could have been friends. Bummer. Lesson learned. Always be prepared because you just never know.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

I was in Tucson AZ for 24 hours and saw three different C10/20s. I have only seen two here in Phoenix and one was at a car show. The trucks I saw in Tucson were all work trucks in current usage like mine which was cool to see. I missed the chance to take a pic of a short bed step side with a ladder hanging out the back but I had my camera phone ready after that and captured these two trucks.

This one was parked with a bunch of other pick-ups at a construction site.

This one was just going down the road.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Taking a shortcut from the bank back across the bridge in Jenks, OK I found a nice 66 GMC Custom cab LWB Fleetside. No bad rust, it already has a 350 in it. The owner was very nice, came out and looked at my GMC while I looked at his. Will get a picture next time I go by.

ps also saw a 67 burb in the same neighborhood. pretty straight.....will get pictures.......

They look like they could be Rambler, but I’m not sure which year or model:

They look a lot like these on a 62 Rambler American:

National Corvette Museum. Dropped in a couple of weeks ago to see what it's all about. Saw this 62 in a display case. Which started me thinking, we need our own Chevrolet Truck /GMC Museum!

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Cornwall Ontario. Passed by in the afternoon and saw this on the front lawn. Nice guys but to hot out to be working on the truck.

I need a better camera with a zoom lens. I've seen a few trucks while out on the road but just out of reach of my little camera.

Saw this one in the parking lot at my gym. I have seen so few out here that I was very surprised to see one right outside.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Seen this one in town. Turns out that the owner uses this one as his personal daily driver but has about 4 more that are at various stages. It was good to talk a few min with another 60-66 lover.

And a little fun I had with the pic

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Here is the truck I tried to post the other day. It was posted on a facebook page that I get on where people post images of rural Alabama. I don't know exactly where this was taken other than it being in Alabama.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Delivered a load to Matton Il. and found this in the parking lot.
Nice job on the tonneau cover.

Now this is not truck related, but, delivery to Norfolk Ny paper plant. This wooden pipe must be 20ft in diameter. A dammed, diverted, river into a canal, feeds this pipe.
