Thank You. I did take the truck to a local show that had around 275 cars and ended up getting best of show. Steve

Re: 57 Fleetside C4 build

Hey Steve, was looking back through your thread at the exhaust and noticed you used clamps on all your stainless. I'm currently planning mine and want to do similar, with H pipe and cut-outs. Did you get a kit, or all separate components? Any insight/info appreciated.

Thanks, Jim

I purchased a stainless kit on e-bay with different turns and straight pipe. I used the stepped band clamps so I could take it apart if I wanted. Steve

Just wondering if you have tried putting the 15 inch wheels on to see if it would ride better? 20s seem to ride hard.

I have not driven it with the 15's on it. It looks so much better with the 20's to me. It makes sense that less sidewall would ride harder. It seems to be less harsh the more I drive it but still not smooth and that may be the way it is. When I was working for Cadillac I would have customers put 24's or bigger on there escalade and wonder why it rode hard. Steve

I like the 20s look on your truck too like you do. I'm worried about the ride on mine is why I'm asking. I haven't bought wheels yet. Possibly your suspension is not broken in yet and it will get better over time.
