As many have said before me...This is a VERY nice Blazer. That would be very fun to cruise around in. Thanks for letting me watch you build it.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build

Your front seats look like they came out of a newer Tahoe like my 2003 but my front seats don't flip forward. What application did yours come from?

I would love to get a set for my 78 K20 but want them to flip forward so I can easily access behind the seats.

In the back did you use the third row set that can be quickly removed or the second row set that just folds flat?

I wish I could get my wife to help instead of "supervising" from the couch.

She just wants to drive them not work on them.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build

May have been asked, but is your front bumper the chrome one from LMC de-chromed or did you get that else where?

I made this bumper 10 years ago back before LMC came out with them. I just took 3" pipe and weld them right in. Also smoothed all the bolts, if you do this make sure you use big washers on the back side so it will not pull out. I found out the hard way.

And thanks guys..

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build

Yea, the one the lower right is Travis' Blazer.

Why would someone go to such length to describe a vehicle and NOT include an actual picture of it is it is as nice and the ad leads you to believe.....

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build

The whole thing sounds fishy. No name, no phone number, just wants to set up a meeting. Almost like he is trying to set somebody up to be robbed meeting a hopeful buyer carrying $4000 cash somewhere away from home.

If he really had that much into the rig he would definitely have pictures of it. It makes no sense putting pics of other peoples vehicles in your ad if what you are selling is as nice as he leads you to believe.

No mention of why he is selling it either.

The whole ad makes me leery.

I just read that add. If someone ever refers to one of my square body trucks as a SLAB I think I'm going to puke on their shoes.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build

Yep that is a pic from this past spring at a show. And that is just odd, I am like you all why would you put a pic of something that your not ever selling, and why would someone have to send him a phone number?
