Yes they restore the entire assembly. New rubber and spring. New glass if needed. New latch if needed. Probably the best money I ever spent.

Mine wasn’t as much, maybe $75 each. But that’s because I had already bought my seals and hardware, thinking I would do them myself. You would have to call Greg and ask him. I want to say it’s around $200 each, but I’m not positive.
I think I posted his info on my build, if not, I’ll post it when I get home from work.

Thanks! Either way that's cheap considering how much LMC and others charge for new windows, the likes of which from LMC I would never put on my truck.

So far I really haven't felt it. Been super busy with Detailing and Building Seats for people. The Detailing is picking up, since the weather is getting a bit better here in Ohio. Check out my FB Detailing Page, it's down below on my signature.

Re: My 86 build

Kicking around the idea of changing the door panels again. When I did mine, I went with what was available at the time, LMC. I like them, but I really like the OEM look. Now USA1 offers Silverado Door Panels.

Re: My 86 build

Now that I’m retired and I have the time, my Benchseat will go thru another change. Having my Benchseat recovered by someone, is what got me started on restoring Benchseats. I realized I paid a lot of money and all they did was recover the seat I gave them. Upholstery Shops DO NOT touch anything else on the seat!! So my seat will come back out and get restored MY way!!
OR:
I will sell my seat “as is” and restore one of my seat frames. Build it with a new foam, a new grid and a new Charcoal Cover.

They are, but NOS are even higher priced, if your lucky to find any. I would love a set of NOS, but too rich for my blood. I still haven’t decided yet, I keep changing my mind
I like what I have right now, it’s just now that there are actually Door Panels that are OEM looking, I want them. It’s not a need, a want, which is why I keep going back & forth. I think I could make a better decision if I could see them in person! Might just have to take a little road trip to NC. I’m retired now, so I could do that

Re: My 86 build

Not much to report on Big Red. I’ve been helping out a friend with restoring the interior of his truck. I built a fully restored 79 Tilt bench seat for him, Carmine Red.

Re: My 86 build

Now I’m working on his interior parts. They are blue, but will be dyed Carmine Red. Cleaned, did a little sanding and more cleaning. Had to fix a few cracks. Got those epoxied and sanded down also. Sand blasted the sun visor holders. I’ll start laying some color on them this week. I will get pics posted up when they are completed.

What brand or supplier are you using for the dye?

I get it from USA1 Industries. The colors are spot on, to the original colors.

Re: My 86 build

TK, those look GrEaT!!! I’ve decided to redo my headliner (the current one has some sag) so I’m going to be pulling all these pieces. If they don’t clean up well, I’ll be placing another order with USA1.

Thanks!! I really enjoy doing these. I like turning something back to looking new again.
I had redone my headliner also. And have done a few since then. In fact, when my parents get here from Florida at the end of the week, I’m going to redo my dads 96 Jaguar he just bought a few months ago. His headliner is sagging pretty bad.
