WoW! Very well preserved vehicle, in the rare "one year only" Dark Aqua metallic. Another one of my favorite '67-'72 colors. Must have been a "one owner", you sure know how to pick em. You actually have the "full wheelcover" option, not hubcaps.

Because if every truck had stock hub caps they wouldn't seem as special..

Thanks for letting me know.

I thought it was because you couldn't order them from Summit Racing.

The original wheel covers, in that condition do look nice. My complaint on hub caps or wheel covers has always been that so many vehicles only have 3...with one in the weeds...somewhere.

Re: original (not modified) truck pics

I cant get enough of the white bumper trucks. So many of them were drove in the ground, or, taken off and "upgraded" to chrome bumpers. Its refreshing to see history preserved.

Re: original (not modified) truck pics

Mitchell72, that's the idea of this thread (for me as the original poster.) preserving history, showing the real deal. Anyone can go buy different wheels, replace the steering wheel, add new hubcaps. But not everyone is preserving history and educating the next generation on what's correct. Anyone can modify a vehicle, I think it takes a special person to keep it original and to care of it, especially as the unmodified vehicles become more rare (due to being cut up lowered, etc). Just my opinion.

Thanks to all the posts of great original trucks.

Joesjunk.... Not junk!!!! Beautiful

That's off a 63' comet / a deer took care of my 72's grill and I had that hanging in my garage and simply squeezed in between the headlights

Not bad look for free

Just got a 69' gmc front end to replace the other but for now it works / people ask me all the time about it

Re: original (not modified) truck pics

Classic picture!
This was, until about a year and a half ago, a nice original 72 Cheyenne 20 in my favorite Dark Yellow.
Since, its been fixed up (more or less), polished and flipped. Third seller I know of in as many years is currently trying to flip it again.
