Reference 1963 Silver Book. The step on the tailgate is handy. I like how the fiberglass top went up square.

Thanks for sharing. Most of us will never see the inside of a Silver Book. I imagine it's full of equally interesting options. |

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
Kevin man, I'm diggin' it!
A solid driver that just looks right. No extra stuff and no trendy flash crap. I bet it drives like a champ. Did any of my old parts come in handy and end up on it?

The Silver book is for commercial truck attachments. Dump Bodies/ Refuse Haulers/ Ambulance Bodies/ Cranes/ PTO's etc......I'm in the process of scanning the book to show you guys. 150+ pages.

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
I sold my beloved Toyota Tacoma 4x4 today, so all I have to drive now, every day, rain or shine is the 63. It was damn tough. I've had a whole lot of trucks in my life, but that little Toyota was the best I have ever had, bar none.
It's going to be nice having the Toyota payment money to spend on other things though. I'm going to start building the rack soon and order gauges soon too. I want to finish blacksmith school (two weeks) before I build the rack though. I've got some little blacksmith hand forged touches I want to add to it.
