Not much of an update but I got the driver side mirror mounted. It's the little things that motivate me

I wouldn't paint that truck Justin, I love it the way it is! The most I would do would be painting the patch panels to match the patina!

Here's a sticker that's on the drivers vent window. I think I might leave it, for some reason I really like it

Re: '69 SWB | Zoie Jane

The pit comes in handy for buttoning things up on the bottom. I still need to finish painting the passenger side head btw.

My magnetic base angle finder will be here tomorrow so I'll get the trans crossmember all bolted in and check it off the list.

Re: '69 SWB | Zoie Jane

If I paint it I've really had my heart set on BMW Marrakech brown. What are your thoughts? I really want something different and unique, but I still want it to be classy if that makes sense.

Personally, I think it looks pretty badass in this rendering

I like the brown!! I'd ditch the upper trim and run lower only.. Just my 2 cents.

You're right. It would look good with the lower trim only. If I keep it blue with the patina think I should add lower trim?

Re: '69 SWB | Zoie Jane

I dig the brown, too. That color looks killer in the sun. Pair it with a slightly creamy off-white on the roof and below the lower trim and you'll have a stunner

.

Couldn't agree more about a properly built vehicle wearing brown paint.

Have always thought they looked classy and different at the same time.

While the rendering looks great, I agree with others about the lower trim.
