yea, I would check the springs the top has an oval shape and one of them might not be seated correctly.

I will try and turn them in the bucket to see if that will make a difference.

Re: Project Platinum C10

Notice that both front driver and passenger lowered 3 1/2" and that both driver and passenger side rear lowered 4 1/4". I need to take a new pic of the bump stops as they are similar now that the truck has been aligned.

Check it before the alignment if possible. I hope it's something simple like that

Re: Project Platinum C10

Looking at your bumpstop pics, it almost looks like you have two different sized springs or lower arms with different drops in front. If you want to troubleshoot, you could always take them out and switch sides to see if it leans to the other side. It doesn't look like it leaned that bad before, or at least I don't see a picture where I can tell it does.

This pic is prior to the lowering kit being installed. I will try and turn the springs in the buckets to see if I can adjust it out.

The wheels and tires are sitting at the tire shop. The paint and body shop told me to wait until after the truck is painted to install the rims so they won't get dirty and dust all over them while it is at the paint shop.

Good call on waiting on the wheels. Although I'm sure it'll be tough to wait

I'll be stripping down my interior possibly tomorrow or next Tuesday and getting it ready for paint

How much is it going to cost you to get the interior painted? Is it just the dash getting painted or what?

Wait, did you do a flip kit in the back? I thought those kits were a 5" drop...

I doubt you'd get a 5" drop without a flip kit

I did the 5" flip kit but it only measured out to 4.25". Not sure why that is though.

After you asked me this question I got to looking at the kit that I ordered and realized that the shocks for the front were not the correct shocks that I installed. They sent me a Part# 1409 and DJM website says that I need a Part#1309. It shows that the 1309 has approx. 11/16" more travel than the 1409. Does this mean the front end will lower 11/16" more with the correct shock?

Yeah I would imagine that using the correct shock would drop it 11/16ths more I could be mistaken too.

$650ish with some minor patches and a few other things thrown in the bill. He's going to paint dash, kick panels, floor, roof etc. (Basicly complete interior paint). If you're free one of the days I'm gutting it swing by and have a beer. I'd like to see your truck

I haven't driven the truck much but it seems to ride good with the combo.

Okay, so now educate me if you don't mind. That looks like a "support" piece that looks like its bent is that, what that is or am I wrong?
