Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
That was the masterseries rust sealer primer, then I did the glossy topcoat... That primer is very very tough... www.nomorerust.com
mine's not UV stable either but for a frame they said it would be fine... I just try to avoid leaving it all day exposed...

Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Just walked through the garage to get some more wood, turned on the lights and I was like dayum, what did I just do.
Leafs will be black, probably the axles too. I'm thinking the orange will tone down a lot as parts get installed. Last edited by vtblazer; 11-29-2008 at 06:36 PM. |

Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Kurt, three more questions,
1: Whose ORD shackle flip is that, that is on the frame now? 2: Is that the 4" Shackle flip for DIY? 3: Can you look at our homemade shackle flip that is on my build thread for "The Bluedress" Our frame is about to go to powdercoat and I don't want to have any problems later down the line. I believe my dad might have made it drop down too far. Thanks bud.

He's fast I tell ya. And does good work. Wish he lived next door and I could afford to have him work some magic on my pet project. That's something to ponder.
