On the vette undercarriage.
I have not seen a good side view, cant tell if this body has been shortened or not: http://www.truckinweb.com/features/1.../photo_02.html http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/0805t...uck/index.html That truck is off the hook! |

Re: Show us your projects
Here's my 48, 55 Chevy car dash, just put in firewall and front floors, getting the body ready for paint. It's bagged and fitted with a metric clip with IROC 12:1 box, Caprice drop spindles, Hotchkis uppers, 1LE brakes and 33 mm sway bar. Out back truck arms, 9" Ford with 4.10 Trac-Lok, Wilwood rotors and Eldo calipers. I spent waaaaay too much time watching autocross at Goodguys!

Re: Show us your projects
Hey Old n Slow, Nice work. That 55 dash looks cool. Was out in the garage sanding on the 71 today. Body work pissed me off.
Maybe a break is in order, and jump back on the 51 for a little while...... |

Re: Show us your projects
Here is my truck, originally it was a two wheel drive but someone has converted it to 3/4 ton 4x4, I got this truck cheap from my neighbor here in KY and it is all original accept for the dana 60 4 wheel drive and transfer case set up, I plan to start on this BIG boy in Jan 2011 updating the suspension to something more modern 2 wheel drive and giving it that old school look, it will be used to promote my business, I can't wait to get started, the original frame is still under it and I will be using it in my build.

Re: Show us your projects
I have, and though I’m not the most internet savvy guy, I can't find an IFS from Scotts for my year model on his web site. I'm sure his site is still a work-in-progress, and what he has so far looks good. The only truck applications that Scott's seems to have for trucks are "63-87 Chevy truck Bolt in IFS". Fat's states on his web site that he has an IFS specifically for my application, and that makes me allot more comfortable. My only other concern with Scott’s is the distance. Fat’s (Charlotte) is only a hop, skip, and jump from the house.
