And my 1 ton is "Vidalia" because the PO's repairs keep making me cry (see if anybody gets the country reference, lol).

Mine is "Miss Represented"
Everything on it from purchase to finish was and will not be what was advertised when I went to buy or see it. Some times good sometimes bad.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Picture to come later, but my wife has named my truck POST for Piece Of S*** Truck. Poor old thing, I guess that means I need to start actually getting it fixed so we can give it another name.

CST10...

I have to confess - there is a load of tile in the bed in that picture. BUT - it does have a 4" drop in front, 5" in rear.
2" spindle drop with shorter coils/shocks and rear is shorter coils/shocks all in a kit.

Without tile in bed - there is more rake but it looks really nice. If you want the drop you see in picture - do a 5" front and 6" rear - but this may require some driveshaft angle modification(?) to achieve proper driveshaft angle to rearend.
Do your research there - it is important! But, also consider going to single driveshaft and see if it buys you anything...I am planning to go to single drive shaft when I put a 5 or 6 speed manual in this truck.

Thank you for asking.

CST10 - not to hog the thread, but for you to see drop without weight in bed.

4" front / 5" rear

Re: What's your trucks name ?

I may be wrong , but I was told the spoilers from later model trucks would work on ours , cant remember what year they started putting them on, maybe the 1980's .

Re: What's your trucks name ?

I like the 4/5 drop. Looks nice. Is that a chin spoiler you have under the bumper. Where did you get that from. Never seen one before on these trucks.

Slammit, I'm from the town of West, Just outside Waco. I can't tell you how many Steakley dealer bumpers, decals, emblems, etc.. Ive come across on these old trucks! Must have been a successful dealership for a long time in Waco.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Have Hex stock spiked lug nuts-really sharp, spikes on both bumpers, spikes throughout the bay, and adding a spiked hood ornament soon as I get the engine back in. New tag just ordered will read "Spycho"

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Here, let me get this thing back on track.
I call my truck the "Mall Crawler"

See, what I do is drive around the mall with the radio turned up real loud(super cool).

All the soccer moms chase my truck around the parking lot screaming like I'm a rock star!

Not sure if it's the Mall Crawler shine or the loud radio, maybe combination of both!

But it sure the heck ain't me.... hahaha
