Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.

im 15
dont use the 283 heads they have tiny valves
i have ported and polished 283 power pack heads now and they are robbing power
get some decent heads small combustion chambers not too small or you cant run pump gas and big vlaves 1.94 or bigger
what headers (down tube size and collector size)
what cam do you have?
what pistons do you have?
have you been into the engine?

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.

If you are talking about double hump heads they flow pretty decent if you get some that are 2.02 valve. But don't waste your money on getting them port and polished and rebuilt if they are just wore out. For the price of getting them ported you could buy a better flowing aftermarket head . The Sportsmen brand stock replacement head they sell is even better than a set of cleaned up double humps. Or mabey invest in some even better vortec heads.

Specs and 1/4 mile are in my sig. ET is slow, because turbo is so big, it takes awhile for it to fully light, but it MPHs like a mofo.

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.

dougminton those wheels look sharp on that truck, esp with that color green - I see you have some tubular arms back there and a leaf to coil swap... what did you make the arms out of? what are the specs on the wheels/tires? I have been considering the foose nitrous II myself.
