Build a frame outta 1" square tubing and keep the original steel bed. Raise it about 11" or so. I haven't measured it out yet. Got some Hart Rods super wide rear tubz coming in.

It will bolt to the bedsides. You can see above the flanges on the ends of the square tubing. I didn't wanna weld them to the bedsides in case I need to take off the bedsides again.

Got the hinged center section working with the gas struts. Air tank will mount there and compressors on each side as shown. Boyds Welding fuel tank in. Also welded in a battery box to relocate it to under the bed.
