Got my wheels sorted out. The only step I have left cosmetically is to get my headliner back up.
I only wish my paint was holding up.

So I pulled the trigger. Literally the drill trigger. I have been trying to figure out how to best install my belt line fuzzies. I removed the clips and cut about an inch off of the curved part and started drilling Holes through the fuzzies and into the window opening and screwed some vary small screws and it worked. The passenger side works just as I would like. The driver side is almost as good. When the window is all the way up it pushes out the outside door skin a little bit. I think I still need to take the window out and readjust how it sits in the channel. Window down and window up. It scared me to death to try this because I didn’t want to mess up the paint. But I laid down enough layers of tape to protect the paint when the drill ran into it.

In other news someone almost plowed into the passenger side of my bed. I was making a left from a main street with no stop sign and he was making a left from the street I was turning onto which had a stop sign. It was one of those instances where as I passed in front of him and lost sight of him I was sure that we would make contact but we did not. I don’t know how we didn’t. Praise God.

I took the truck to the dyno yesterday. I went to Westech were they film Engine Masters. I even got to meet Steve Brule. They changed out my secondary metering rods to get a good mixture and they also messed with the transmission cable that connects to the throttle. Because he messed with that cable I took it to the transmission builder to make sure he didn’t mess that up. All and all I am happy with the experience but it was fairly expensive and now I have a bunch of extra Q-jet parts. I took video but it looks exactly the same as the photo except the wheels are spinning. He took it up to around 4250 rpm. He would have gone faster but the rear end started shaking like crazy. I think I need to fix the pinion angle. 197 hp at 4493 rpm and 246 ft pounds at 3710 rpm.

Also I was trying to figure out how much larger I would need to have the size of my window increased if was going to have a new one made and I think that the window I took out of the truck is slightly taller than the new one that I installed. It’s really hard to tell with the window installed.

I yanked out my kick penal speakers that I was vary happy with. The reason I had to do so was because I blocked off my vents the air pressure inside the cab when I shut my doors caused the bondo and paint in my roof to crack. Real bummer but I don’t want my paint cracking

It’s been a while sense I have posted on here. I had my exhaust rerouted today. I got tired of having my loud and smelly exhaust right outside my window in front of the rear tire. I wanted it to exit behind the bed. Because it is a 62 and has a under the bed gas tank it would have been vary difficult to have it go up and over the rear axle. So instead it was routed up and over my back tire and dump out behind the tire. I am not sure if I am happy. It has a little bit more of a drone than I like. It will take a little getting used to. Also you can see the pipe a little bit inside the fender so I might end up painting it black to hide it better. They also added an H cross over pipe.

My bottom end I have had for 22 years and who knows what the PO did to that.
So I think it is new engine time
